Abstract

Spheroids are small, three-dimensional clusters of cells that simulate the behavior of tissues, such as tumors. The use of spheroids is key in current biomedical research, as they offer a better understanding of tumor response to chemotherapy treatments. In recent years, spheroids have gained significant scientific prominence due to their ability to model complex processes such as drug resistance, tumor invasion, and cell death, becoming a cutting-edge tool for the development of more effective cancer therapies.
