The exotic Flatworms Bipalium kewense (Bipaliinae), Dolichoplana striata (Geoplanidae) are reported for the first time for Zapopan, Jalisco; the beginning of their colonization in this region is unknown. Both have been located in the Vermiculture beds or gardens around them at the University Center for Agricultural Biological Sciences of the University of Guadalajara. As in other places where they have been detected, they represent a potential risk of behaving as invasive species, which could pose a serious problem by preying on terrestrial invertebrates. This report shows the evidence that confirms their presence in this region of Mexico.
