One of the main reasons for consultation is fertility problems. Among the most common causes and pathologies for a woman to get pregnant are: obesity, type II diabetes mellitus (DM2), insulin resistance (IR), inability to ovulate, structural problems of the reproductive system, infections, inability of the egg to mature correctly, implantation failure and autoimmune disorders. It is necessary to identify these factors and establish strategies for their attention and even prevention. There is currently scientific evidence of the relationship between insulin resistance and infertility. Insulin resistance is considered one of the main causes of infertility problems.
