Challenges and reflections: interviews with migrants in transit on Mexico's northern border

Migrants in transit through Mexico are prone to experience many misfortunes since they leave their countries of origin for the United States. Each experience depends to some extent on their immigration status, and all kinds of experiences arise from them. In this sense, given that it is a population that may have suffered violence before or during its migration, we find them with an attitude of resistance to providing information, which is why a series of reflections emerge that were generated as a result of the field work in instances of social support in the State of Sonora, which is based on an ongoing investigation of migrants in transit of Central American and Mexican origin.
